Eden supports students and young adults who face anxiety or depression due to strained relationships, work stress, burnout, school pressure, acute and chronic illness, or even everyday life stressors. With a wealth of lived experience, she serves as a strong resource for anybody looking to manage their symptoms and optimize their quality of life. Relationships can be complicated and sometimes even painful; Eden is on your side and eager to help you navigate those challenging interpersonal dynamics so you can do less worrying, and more living.

Eden wants you to feel heard and supported. She provides a safe, confidential space for you to explore any issues you’re facing. Her empathetic, solution-focused approach can help you harness your strengths and find concrete solutions to stress. Through warmth, understanding, and trust, Eden hopes to build a strong relationship with you that allows for personal growth and change. She’ll work with you to pinpoint major issues, understand your challenges, manage your symptoms and emotions, and implement a care plan. Eden can help you improve your mental health and resilience through her knowledge of mindfulness and cognitive reframing.

Eden previously worked at the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, doing therapeutic recreation with children in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit. Additionally, she has experience counselling children and their families from working at the Bialik Elementary School in Toronto. She has also worked at One Kenton Place, where she supported adults with dementia and their families.

In her personal life, Eden prioritizes her own mental health and checks in with herself regularly. Eden keeps a wellness journal that allows her to track her mood, stay organized, and express gratitude for something each day. Eden enjoys long walks in nature, yoga, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Q&A

What does good mental health look like to you?
Good mental health is not perfect mental health. Everyone has a bad day now and then. Good mental health means having the tools to combat bad days and also having an overall positive mindset and outlook on life.
What is a motto or idea that gives you reassurance when you’re having a difficult time?
Tomorrow is a new day!
How do you describe therapy?
I would describe therapy as a secure and confidential space for an individual to talk through any issues they may be having. During sessions the individual should feel understood and heard by their therapist. Along with the major goal of resolving the presenting issues, one hopes that a strong relationship based on trust and support will be forged between the therapist and client.
