Jackie supports young adults and adults who struggle to find meaning and fulfillment in life. Whether you’re a student, a new professional, or just feel a bit lost, Jackie can help you work through the challenges of change, stress, or anxiety. She also works with people who feel stuck after a major life transition such as a break up, a move, or becoming a parent. Jackie is committed to helping you become the best version of yourself.

Jackie has over four years of experience in adult mental health. She is a clinical program specialist who develops digital CBT-based programs on a variety of issues. Most recently, Jackie developed programs on burnout (for healthcare workers and the general population) and adjustment disorder. Jackie has also developed mental wellness programs for corporate companies including the Canadian Olympic Committee.

With Jackie, you’re in the driver's seat. She believes that you hold the key to your own contentment and peace — you might just need help accessing it. She strives to create a safe place where you can explore your struggles, process experiences, and build confidence. In sessions, Jackie uses modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, and acceptance. With Jackie, you can expect to build resilience and coping skills from a strength-based perspective.

In her personal life, Jackie is passionate about learning. She’s a research nerd who keeps up-to-date with psychology literature and best practices, and she watches lots of cool documentaries. She dreams of owning a quaint villa in the Italian countryside with a library full of antique books and a huge flower garden. She also loves her tuxedo cat named Beans (who you might see on camera)! Let Jackie meet you where you're at and support you in this journey of life. Allow yourself to show up just as you are, knowing that you have help along the way.

Q&A

What does good mental health look like to you?
Being mentally healthy can look different for everyone, but when I feel mentally healthy, I feel a sense of trust in myself and empowerment in being able to tackle anything life throws my way. I feel a sense of peace knowing that I'm not perfect and I don't have to be in order to live a life that gives me meaning and joy. I am okay with uncertainty and am able to return back to the present moment. Lastly, I am able to function and go about my day without letting fear stop me.
What is a motto or idea that gives you reassurance when you’re having a difficult time?
You are allowed to show up in life the way you are and you are allowed to take up space in this world just by being you.
What would you say to a friend struggling with a mental health issue?
You don't have to struggle alone. In life, we will face challenges, uncertainty, and hardship. You have what it takes to get through even the darkest of storms, but you don't have to navigate that storm by yourself. Give yourself permission to step out of that comfort zone and live your best life on your own terms.
