Khadhija is dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges, burnout, substance use, and cross-cultural issues to enhance your mental well-being, self-confidence, and overall quality of life. Drawing from her experiences as a South-Asian Muslim woman navigating the Western world, she deeply understands the struggle of fitting into a society with ever-changing norms. Khadhija is committed to creating a non-judgmental therapeutic environment where you can feel safe. She firmly believes that the path to strength and solutions resides within you.
In sessions, Khadhija creates a warm and inviting atmosphere where you can be authentic. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in collaboration, as she empowers you to explore your inner strengths, creating a therapy plan based on your individualized needs. She integrates mindfulness exercises within sessions, such as breath work and being present at the moment, empowering you while building a coping skills toolkit. Together, you’ll learn to nurture your emotional well-being and cultivate resilience. Khadhija strives to create a space where genuineness and authenticity flow freely. With unconditional support, your sessions will be a stepping stone towards healing and personal growth.
Beyond the sessions, Khadhija spends her time as a baker and cake designer, running a small business called Cake Canvas, which allows her creativity to thrive. She’s an animal lover and proud paw-rent to two cats, Belle and Simba. She also enjoys grabbing a coffee and exploring the beauty of nature by going on hikes with her family and friends.
