Meet Shannon

Shannon strives to build a meaningful and collaborative relationship with each of her clients. She does this by recognizing each other as human, acknowledging the breakdowns, and encouraging her clients to see that they are the experts in their lives. She helps her clients find their own unique breakthroughs - those valuable aha! moments - so that they can create a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Shannon supports people experiencing a number of mental health challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, addictions, overall stress and related concerns, communication and assertiveness, self-esteem and self-worth, and general life “stuckness.”

Shannon works with people of all ages. She is also experienced in working with teens and young adults and their families as they navigate the challenges of mental un-wellness.

For years, Shannon has been a strong advocate for creating change in the field of mental health, working to reduce stigma and increase accessibility to services. Shannon brings her advocacy into session by always seeing you as a person first - rather than as a problem to be fixed.

Shannon has completed additional professional training in different therapeutic modalities (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness). This means that Shannon can help you find the best way to understand your experiences, provide expert suggestions for things to try out, and help you create meaningful and lasting change.
