Right for you if

Life feels like it's coming at you from every direction, and you want to leave each session with a plan, even a small one, so you can start moving forward.

You're a student juggling deadlines, exams, and the pressure to get it all right, and it's starting to take a toll.

You're pregnant or have recently had a baby, and you're feeling more anxious or low than you expected.

You have ADHD and you're tired of starting strong, losing steam, and wondering why keeping up feels so much harder for you.

Meet Emily

When life piles up all at once, it's hard to know where to go from there. Emily works with adults and students who feel stuck in that spot. Maybe you're caught in an overthinking spiral, cancelling plans because the 'what ifs' got too loud, or putting off the thing you've been wanting to do until you're sure you won't fail. Maybe ADHD has you running a dozen open tabs in your brain and feeling behind no matter how hard you try. Emily helps you break things down so they feel less overwhelming and you can start to see real progress. She also has training in perinatal mental health and supports you through anxiety and depression during pregnancy and postpartum, from sleepless nights and constant worry to the pressure of heading back to work. If you feel like you've been thrown into a whole new world and are expected to figure it out for yourself, Emily understands, and she's here to help.

Sessions with Emily are warm, gentle, and led by you. She's goal oriented, but you always have a say in your goals and how you get there, and you don't need them figured out before you start. If you show up feeling like a jumbled ball of yarn, Emily will help you untangle it until you can take a breath and see where you're headed. You'll leave every session with one small, doable step to take before the next one, like trying a small experiment, taking a small step toward something you’ve been avoiding, or simply noticing patterns you’d like to change. Those steps add up, and before long, the things that felt daunting start to feel possible. Emily's path to becoming a therapist started at home. Her mom worked in the perinatal community, supporting new parents, and Emily grew up hearing how overwhelmed they felt being thrown into parenthood with so little support. That stuck with her, and today, whether you're a new parent, a student, or an adult trying to hold it all together, Emily wants to be the support that was never there.

Outside of therapy, Emily is a big planner who likes to know what's coming, so she gets how stressful school and big changes can feel. She's a hobby lover who enjoys trying new things, and she's always happy getting outside for some fresh air. Emily never says no to a coffee, especially one she gets to make herself. She's also a big foodie, and fall is when she thrives because it means baking just about everything.

Q&A

Are you a paw-rent? Who’s the furry (or scaly!) friend running your household?

Yes! I’m the proud paw-rent of my puppy, Nyla, who keeps me grounded, entertained, and firmly convinced that she’s actually the one in charge.

What’s your go-to coffee order (or tea, if that’s your vibe)?

I’m a coffee lover through and through, so you’ll usually find me with one in hand. My order? Anything salted caramel flavoured!

What’s a skill or hobby that lights you up outside of therapy?

Baking and singing are two of my favourite things to do. Both give me a chance to be creative, get lost in the moment, and leave me feeling recharged.
