Jennifer is here to help you rediscover yourself, whether you're burnt out, navigating women's health, or working through ADHD symptoms.
You're the one everyone counts on, and somewhere between the deadlines and the to do lists, you've hit a wall you can't push through anymore.
Staying focused and on top of things has always taken more effort than it seems to for everyone else, and you're tired of blaming yourself for it.
Your body and mood are shifting, whether it's perimenopause or another new season of life, and the ways you've always coped aren't working like they used to.
You grew up balancing your parents' expectations with your own, and you're still figuring out where theirs end and yours begin.

Jennifer works with adults, especially women, who are high-achieving, deeply capable, and quietly burning out. Often the stress has been building so long it's become a cycle: wired and anxious one week, flat and depleted the next. With a strong focus on women's health, Jennifer helps you navigate big life transitions, including perimenopause, with more steadiness. One of her personal passions is supporting women who wonder if ADHD might be part of their story, helping you explore what's been feeling hard and what next steps feel right for you. If you grew up with immigrant parents, Jennifer understands the pressures that can come with it. She's a first-generation Canadian with Portuguese roots herself. Through it all, she'll help you make sense of how your thoughts, feelings, and habits connect, rebuild your self-esteem, and leave each session with something that feels useful.
Sessions with Jennifer are honest, relational, and shaped around you. Clients have described her as very real, and her style leans direct. She'll challenge you and ask the hard questions, always with care, but that doesn't mean she'll tell you what to do or how to live your life. You'll figure that out together. There's no right way to do therapy with Jennifer, and it's never a report card. There's your way and what's going to work for you. She pulls from a range of approaches and builds a plan around what you share and what fits your life, and if something doesn't click, she'll try something else. She often reminds clients that about 10% of the work happens in session and 90% happens out in your life, so she helps you find strategies you'll actually use. After years of working with children, youth, and families, what keeps Jennifer in this work is her love of people's stories. She believes everybody has one, and that therapy can be a place to work through what's hard, learn more about yourself, and find your voice again.
Outside of therapy, Jennifer is a huge music lover who's always heading to a concert or adding to her vinyl collection. She was raised on her parents' '70s rock and '50s soul, picked up her older brother's music along the way, and is always discovering something new. You'll often find her outdoors with her Australian Shepherd, the love of her life, or trying a new restaurant. She's also a book lover who squeezes in a chapter whenever she can.
