Melanie is a registered social worker. She believes that you can make the changes you want or need in your life. Sometimes you just need some encouragement, motivation, or ideas on how to get there. She focuses on your strengths and uses these to motivate change.
Melanie uses various therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and EMDR.
In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time outdoors and being with her family. She has two children, so she understands how stress (including from COVID-19) can affect parents. She can also help you navigate the challenges you face as a parent.
