Meet Michelle
Michelle supports people navigating the moments in life that can feel impossible to carry, whether that’s losing someone you love, anticipating a future loss, grappling with anxiety, trauma, or the weight of your own mortality. She works with those who feel like they’ve lost their sense of self and want to find a version they can live with again. Michelle is also experienced in working with individuals who experience suicidal thoughts, offering a space where those conversations aren’t avoided but met with care and understanding. She’s here for caregivers who are burnt out, and for anyone who feels thrown off course by change, loss, or the unpredictability of life.
Therapy with Michelle doesn’t shy away from challenges. Sessions feel like a grounding, unhurried conversation where you can bring the hardest parts of yourself without fear of judgment. She aims for you to leave feeling softer, lighter, and able to breathe differently, less dysregulated and more in control. Michelle often becomes a steady part of her clients’ routines, a consistent source of comfort in their week, helping to slowly integrate tools and perspectives that make life feel more manageable.
Outside the therapy room, Michelle is a proud mom to two young daughters who inspire her daily, one of whom is autistic and teaches her about resilience and self-regulation. She loves staying active, finding movement to be one of her first tools for emotional balance. Originally from California, Michelle brings a warmth and depth shaped by years of work in hospice, palliative care, paediatrics, and grief counselling, holding both joy and heartbreak as equal parts of a meaningful life.
