Meet Monica

Monica is a compassionate therapist who specializes in helping adults cope with grief and loss. She recognizes that loss can take many forms, including the loss of a loved one, a way of life, or a new diagnosis. Monica can help you identify when you need additional skills, such as mindfulness or engaging in positive activities, to enhance your journey toward wellness. She takes a strengths-based approach and appreciates the humanity in each individual's unique journey.

During therapy sessions, Monica uses her training in brief and narrative therapy to explore personalized steps for each of your needs. She also incorporates techniques from CBT and DBT to assist you in managing your mental health journey. Outside of sessions, Monica enjoys hiking with her dog and finding peace in nature. She also enjoys indoor activities such as knitting, drawing, painting, and colouring.
