Meet Skye

Skye supports adolescents and adults deal with emotions that are difficult to manage and express. She is passionate about working with you to better understand the challenges that can come with challenges such as trauma, addiction, self-esteem and self-acceptance. In supporting you to better understand your challenges, Skye will work with you to find coping strategies and skill sets to help better cope and manage.

Skye’s approach to therapy sessions depends on your needs and preferences, and commonly uses approaches such as strengths-based and compassion-focused. She creates a warm and friendly environment and will place emphasis on developing a trusting rapport before moving into change-based work. Skye believes that a greater understanding of your strengths and values will lead to acceptance of your authentic self and facilitation of behavioural change.

Outside of sessions, you’ll find Skye reading a psychological thriller, playing with her dachshund, or trying a new hobby- most recently, aerial silks. Skye feels that laughter is an underrated natural medicine and she welcomes you to bring your humour to a session!
