Communication Skills

How you express yourself affects almost every part of your life, from close relationships to work to how conflict unfolds when things get tense. When communication feels consistently strained, it's rarely about intelligence or intention. More often, it's about patterns and habits that can actually be changed with the right support.

In sessions, you'll have the chance to look honestly at how you currently communicate: where things tend to break down, what gets in the way of saying what you mean, and how you respond when conversations get difficult. Practical work might include examining your listening habits, practising assertiveness, exploring non-verbal cues, and building skills for navigating conflict without shutting down or escalating. Role-play and real-time feedback make it possible to try new approaches in a lower-stakes setting, so you're better prepared when you need them in your actual relationships.
