Fatherhood

Being a father is one of those roles that nobody fully prepares you for. Whether you're expecting your first child, adjusting to a new stage of parenting, or carrying old wounds from your own experience of being fathered, the weight of responsibility can feel both meaningful and overwhelming at times.

Therapy can be a place to work through the parts of fatherhood that don't come with instructions: managing frustration, reconnecting when you feel distant from your kids, or reckoning with the kind of parent you want to be versus the pressures you inherited. It's also about building confidence in your own version of showing up, and figuring out what that looks like for you rather than following a script.
