Male Loneliness and Disconnection

Loneliness among men often goes unspoken, partly because admitting to it can feel like a vulnerability too far. You might have people in your life and still feel deeply disconnected. Friendships can drift, relationships can become transactional, and the kind of closeness you actually want can feel harder to reach, or even harder to name.

In therapy, you don't have to pretend that disconnection isn't costing you. You can look at what's getting in the way of real connection, whether that's old patterns, difficulty expressing yourself, fear of rejection, or simply not knowing how to reach out. The goal is to understand yourself better and to start moving toward the kind of connection that actually means something to you.
