Grief, Loss & Healing

Palliative Care Support

When you or someone you love is facing a serious illness, the emotional weight can be enormous. Fear, grief, uncertainty about what lies ahead, and the exhaustion of navigating medical systems all coexist at once, and there isn't always a clear place to put any of it. Talking with a therapist gives you somewhere to work through what you're feeling, whether that's about the illness itself, the people around you, or questions about what matters most to you.

Support at this stage often focuses on things like finding language for conversations that feel too hard to start, managing anxiety about what's ahead, and making sense of your values and priorities when decisions need to be made. Mindfulness and stress management tools can provide some relief from the constant pressure. The aim is not to minimize what you're going through, but to help you move through it with more steadiness and less isolation.
