Amreeta is here to support you with low self-worth, perfectionism, anxiety, and depression.
Amreeta works with adults and young adults who experience low self-confidence or self-worth and are ready for a change. Amreeta is here to help you build self-acceptance, make courageous choices, and develop deeper connections with others while navigating between cultures. She is passionate about guiding you in self-discovery and personal growth.
Amreeta has 17 years of experience supporting individuals who experience perfectionism. She can help you identify triggers and beliefs that drive perfectionism or make you believe that you are not good enough. She can also gently challenge behaviour such as pleasing others or avoiding conflict. She’ll support you to develop clarity, awareness, and a compassionate understanding of yourself. In doing so, you can learn to develop inner peace and connect more with yourself and others.
Amreeta provides a safe and comfortable space in each session. She’ll support you to understand your emotions, develop a more forgiving inner dialogue, and be confident in who you are. She’ll assist you to honour parts of yourself that you’ve had to deny or hide. She uses evidence and strength-based approaches, including emotion-focused therapy, self-compassion, and mindfulness, to help you reach your goals. As a Certified Daring WayTM Facilitator, Amreeta uses the method developed by Brené Brown to guide you to authenticity and wholehearted living.
Amreeta knows firsthand about the daily practice of believing in yourself. As a cis-female, first-generation South Asian, she understands how it feels to be an outsider and navigate different cultures and worldviews. Through her own therapy and personal journey, she has learned that loving yourself and recognizing your worth builds trust in yourself. Amreeta is a mother to two children and a partner in a biracial marriage. She loves exploring new places, working out, and as an introvert, having quiet time to herself.
