Right for you if

You're tired of being so hard on yourself, and you're ready to start talking to yourself the way you'd talk to a friend.

You're anxious, burnt out, overwhelmed, or in the middle of a big life or career change, and it's left you feeling disconnected from who you are.

You keep landing in the same relationship patterns, even when you've told yourself this time would be different.

You're navigating your gender, identity, or sexuality, and you want a therapist who's part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and brings that lived understanding into the room with you.

Meet Kyle

Kyle works with adults who have a really strong inner critic, the kind that makes it hard to offer yourself any compassion, even when you'd offer it to anyone else in your position. Many of his clients are anxious, burnt out, or under so much stress they feel overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward. They often find themselves doing everything they can to change, only to end up back in the same spot. Kyle's approach comes from understanding how early experiences and past adversity shape how you see yourself, connect with others, and move through the world, and that making sense of those patterns can support real, lasting change. As a queer therapist who grew up in a rural community with limited diversity and representation, he developed an early appreciation for belonging, authenticity, and creating spaces where people feel genuinely seen and accepted. Kyle brings that same energy into the room today, helping clients break cycles they can't quite explain and finally understand what's underneath them.

Sessions with Kyle move at whatever pace feels right for you. He pays as much attention to what's happening in your body as what's on your mind, since a lot of what we carry doesn't show up in words first. If you're feeling overwhelmed, he might invite you to slow down and notice what's underneath: a tightness in your chest, a knot in your stomach, before untangling it further. He often talks about the different "parts" of us, some louder than others, and helps you get curious about whichever one is asking for attention instead of pushing it aside. Nothing happens without your buy-in: if something feels like too much, that's information Kyle works with, not something to push past. You'll likely leave a session with Kyle feeling deeply seen and understood, more connected to yourself, and hopeful about what's next.

Outside of therapy, Kyle is a creative at heart, drawn to musical theatre, museums, and documentary films from around the world. Much of his free time goes into his garden or his kitchen, tending his plants and trying new recipes for family and friends, both of which help him slow down and stay present. He's also an avid gamer and loves to travel somewhere new every year. Above all, he values quality time with the people he loves, including his family, friends, and his seven-year-old Pomeranian-husky, Meeko, who keeps life entertaining every day.

Q&A

Are you a paw-rent? Who’s the furry (or scaly!) friend running your household?
This is Meeko, my 7 year old Pomsky (Pomeranian/Husky mix). He’s a big fluffy ball of energy with a really quirky personality-he certainly keeps me and his other dad on our toes!
What’s a skill or hobby that lights you up outside of therapy?
I love gardening? I have many indoor and outdoor plants & vegetables. It’s a mindful practice for me, that supports me in grounding and slowing down to notice and appreciate the present moment.
If you weren’t a therapist, what would be your dream job?
I’ve always had a dream of having a little farm where I could offer fresh in-season produce and various kitchen creations to guests and visitors. Who knows, maybe someday!
