Meet Nicole

Nicole works with clients who are used to holding it all together—executive leaders, first responders, entrepreneurs, military members, and ambitious professionals in demanding careers who function at a high level but often feel emotionally disconnected. Whether it’s trauma, burnout, or the constant pressure to stay composed, Nicole helps clients who’ve gotten used to pushing their feelings aside just to get through the day. The trouble is, when you never make space for how you really feel, it starts to bleed into everything: your homelife, relationships, sleep, mood, and sense of self. With years of experience supporting clients of all identities, and a particular focus on men navigating the stigma around vulnerability, Nicole creates a space where high-functioning individuals can slow down, unpack what’s underneath, and start building emotional habits that truly serve them. Her background spans children’s aid, hospitals, jails, community mental health, and military bases, shaping her grounded, practical approach.

Nicole’s lived experiences with grief, loss, and starting over give her a deep empathy for life’s tougher moments. She brings a down-to-earth energy to her sessions and uses humour intentionally, as a way to connect, normalize, and sit in the uncomfortable moments together. She believes laughter can be a powerful healer, especially when paired with thoughtful challenge and honest reflection. Nicole goes beyond gentle support and validation. She creates space to slow down and build trust, then thoughtfully challenges the patterns that hold you back. Together, you’ll make sense of how your past shapes your present and take steps to move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether through talk therapy or EMDR, Nicole’s sessions are focused, supportive, and tailored to help you live the life you actually want: authentically, intentionally, and unapologetically.

Outside of sessions, Nicole is a dog mom, music lover, and avid traveller who’s always got her next adventure on the books. Whether she’s strumming her guitar, hitting open mics, or enjoying a good pub trivia night, she lives by the belief that, as the Red Hot Chili Peppers put it, “this life is more than just a read-through.”

Q&A

Are you a paw-rent? Who’s the furry (or scaly!) friend running your household?
I am an obsessed dog mom. I have two small dogs who run my life, a Shorkie named Molly and a Malshi puppy named Charlie. They are both tiny Furball's with lots of energy and they keep me on my toes. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What’s a skill or hobby that lights you up outside of therapy?
Anything music. I am a pisces after all. I always have music going when I’m not working and I love going to Concerts (Red Hot Chili Peppers have been the best yet). I am learning to play the guitar and I love to sing at open mic nights. I love the way music can take you back to a single memory.
Who would play you in the movie of your life, and why?
Jennifer Lawrence. I love how down to earth and genuine she is, and she is very comfortable in her own skin and doesn’t take herself too seriously. I love her use of humour and her fun approach to things. I feel like she would be the most representative of me.
