Hypochondria, also known as health anxiety, is a condition where individuals are excessively worried about having a serious illness. This anxiety can lead to frequent doctor visits, unnecessary medical tests, and a preoccupation with health-related information. In therapy, we focus on helping clients understand the root causes of their fears and anxieties.
