ADHD affects how your brain manages focus, time, and impulse control, and it doesn't look the same for everyone. For some people that's missed deadlines and a messy desk, for others it's racing thoughts, restlessness, or feeling like you're always one step behind your own life.
Therapy won't replace an ADHD diagnosis or medication if that's part of your plan, but it gives you a space to build systems that actually work for your brain, not the one productivity culture assumes you have. That might mean tackling shame around things you've struggled with for years, or simply having somewhere to think out loud with someone who gets it.
