Sandra specializes in supporting people who have lost their sense of self and hope. She has extensive experience in the area of sexual and reproductive health, and has worked with people who face anxiety, childhood trauma, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and violence. Sandra has seven years of experience in mental health, counselling, and advocacy.
Sandra strongly believes that no one should experience pain in isolation: everyone needs help to navigate life and the healing process. Sandra sees you for who you are, not the problems you bring to therapy. Sandra believes in client-led self-exploration. She’ll work with you to create a personalized therapeutic approach where you feel safe, seen, and understood. She will help you uncover your unique strengths and embrace your life purpose.
Sandra applies a holistic and strength-based approach to counselling. She uses modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, culturally sensitive care, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. Sandra welcomes all races, genders, sexualities, ages, cultures, religions, and abilities, as she is committed to anti-oppressive and anti-racist principles.
